Colosseum Overlayed (Print)

Colosseum wood block print is the same design as the quilt, but more detail was carved into the shapes to mimic possible quilted lines. This version of the print is double printed giving this unique shadow look.

Colosseum was designed based on a photograph (taken by the artists husband) of the Colosseum in Rome at night. This unique design takes the core elemental shapes from the architecture and combines them in abstract placement.

There were only 2 prints made of the first run of this print.
